KDT Code of Conduct

  The code lays out the rules that must be followed to both join and maintain your membership in KDT. Breach of rules may result in sanctions from verbal/written warnings, warning levels added publicly to forum accounts, short term bans or indeed permanant loss of membership.

1 - Respect must be shown at all times to ALL other users, this may be forum users, other gamers, other members, or anyone that you are in contact with. To quote the forum rules, feel free to disagree, but present a constructive argument or point. Don't get dragged down to personal insulting.
2 - Present yourself in an honourable manor, basically, don't act like a 'noob' from glitching, cheating to riding around walls on Midnight Club. We strive to be clean and fair, although some games allow exploits like the MC wall riding to get around corners, we race and play all games including shooters as they were intended and in a manner that won't ruin anyone elses experience.
3 - Keep in contact, if you're going on holiday, tell us, if you can't get online, tell us whenever you get a chance. From now on inactivity will be treated as a breach of the code, just a simple hi on the forum or to myself or a staff member on PSN is enough to keep your membership. Just once a fortnight or so is enough, doesn't need to be every day. Warnings for breach of this rule will be handed out after a month or so, a quick reply will result in no major sanction.
4 - No elitism or cockiness. If you beat someone, in a race, in a drift battle, don't rub it in. You proved your better already by beating them, or at least proved your worth, there's no need to rub it in and tarnish our image. Sure if someone gets cocky pre-match and then you beat them, feel free to make them feel stupid about it. However as the next rule will detail, this must only be done to give someone a taste of their own medicine, see 5 for more.
5 - Treat everyone equally until treated unfairly, if someones unpleasant towards you, you will be forgiven if you're unpleasant back HOWEVER if a KDT member is unpleasant towards you unprovoked, you MUST report this immediately and discretely to myself or a member of staff. Don't argue with the offending KDT member or you can easily make yourself appear just as guilty. Complaints will be dealt with appropriately and quickly by one of our staff and sanctions handed out. Of course if someone is truly out of line, you will need to provide proof through other witnesses or photo/video evidence. We can't kick members out on a 'your word against his/hers' situation.
