Team Set Up
At the moment (2011 onwards) KDT is active on GT5 exclusively, looking to hold all future events on Gran Turismo until other games are released. However, even if other games are released such as Test Drive Unlimited 2, KDT plans to stay with GT5 for a long time to come holding events on GT5 as well as other titles yet to be released. It is worth noting that although KDT is split into 2 sections, there is no actual divide within the team itself, all members are simply members of KDT and the sections are merely to show what our interests and activities are as a group.
Currently, the Team consists or 2 major sections, these sections are as follows...
- Kaizen Driving Team - "If in Doubt, Flat-out" (Colin McRae)
Kaizen Driving Team had been the major part of the team until recently now drifting has a home, in the future the driving aspect of KDT will focus on touge battles, wangan runs and tuned car battles. Clean driving is a requirement for all members at any time but particularly when competing with others, leading by example of how real drivers should race.
- Kaizen Drift Team - The Way Forwards is Sideways
Keeping with our origins, KDT still keeps a drift wing in operation. With the recent release of GT5, our craving to smoke the tyres can finally be satisfied. Drifting mainly Japanese imports, KDT is focused more on the social side of drifting rather then the competitive side, looking to drift and run with other like minded drivers rather then try to out-do them and cause conflict due to the subjective nature of judging.
